i am getting head rebuilt on 188 case gas engine
had a very hard time finding after market parts for the head. finally had to go to case/ih and paid thru nose. how come there are no aftermarket parts available on this engine. there are alot of them still in use? the guy that rebuilt the head said he checked all his sources and could find nothing. i did find a upper gasket set at local auto parts.

Try John Saeli or Don Livingston. John has had all of the engine parts I have needed for my 630 with the 188 gas engine.

thanxs for info. i checked there site. they do not show a valve kit for 188b gas. they show for 188 diesel. if i contact them maybe they would have a gas kit. strange, everyone i have talked with does not seem to have valve kits for 188b gas.
