LA carb adjustment

Rebuilding a Zenith carb for a LA Case. Where is the starting point for adjustment? Set up the same as a M/S? Sure is a big carb. Thanks, Dave S.

The service manual I have says to "...turn the Main Jet Adjusting Needle to the right clockwise until it seats lightly, being careful not to force the point against the seat, as doing so may ruin the seat. Next, turn it back about one and one-half turns. The engine should start on this adjustment, and it should be sufficiently close to run until the final adjustment is made."
