1947 Case VAH

I"ve been drooling over this 1947 Case VAH for a while and just found out that its for sale for $1400.00. All I know so far is that the engine is free, the tires and tin are in great condition. I have no feel for parts availability for Case"s, it"s missing the engine casting that the radiator hose would connect to and I believe it has the wrong seat. Are these readily available?

The 2 parts that you noted are missing are not too hard to find as they are the same as used on the standard VAC that the VAH is based on. There were a lot of VAC"s build and so you can find the parts you need in many salvage yards around the country. Does the VAH have a good serial number tag? I have a 47 VAH that I have restored and it is a great little show tractor. Good luck with your find.
 
Thank you Shane for the info as to it being similar to the VAC, the serial number tag is in tack, 5166132. I see there is room for three guages on the instrument panel, one is missing, which guages should be in place? I plan on getting an IT operator manual as soon as I close the deal, I swear by them.
