Hi all, My 1070 is really jumpy especially when trying to feather the clutch backing up as when round baling or around the yard. It seems that you have to let the pedal out a long ways before it moves, much more than on other 70 series I have owned or driven. Was thinking of going through the pedal adjustment procedure described in the shop manual. Anyone got any other ideas?Other than that problem the ps works flawlessly. I appreciate any assistance given.

Doug, I'm having the same problem and seems worse once the tractor warms up. Let me know what you find out. It sounds very familiar to my problem.

I'll try to call first of the week, usually when I come in for the night it is pretty late to call with the 1 hour time difference.

Pitfalls of Tractor Engine Rebuilds - by Chris Pratt. The first pop after you have put the machine together with your own hands is exciting and pleasing. The whole experience can be marred if one moves too fast and makes too many assumptions that they can just use "as is" some parts they should be closely scrutinizing and possibly attended to. In such cases, rework makes what could have been a fun project turn into an irritant or even a nightmare. Minor Irritants To give you an example of an minor but irritating proble
