Case SC

I've never had any experience with Cases so that's why I'm asking you guys.

Late Case SC with adjustable wide front.
Foot clutch.
Has Eagle Hitch and two remotes.
Runs good.
Overall condition good.
Tin work pretty good; definitely not a mess.
Steering a little loose but not overly so.
Tires good; rears mismatched but still good.
Front wheels are the weighted type.

Can anyone give be a ballpark figure about the $$ value? What would be a reasonable offer? By reasonable, I mean an offer that is fair to the seller and fair to me. This tractor will probably be for sale soon and the owner is "dancing" about how to price it.

I would say offer $2,100.

It somewhat depends on where the tractor is located as to the "demand" for an SC. The options you mentioned are all desirable and the overall condition sounds good, so I would say between $1700 and $2000. Don

Where are you located? That will be a determining factor in pricing. In my area (Oklahoma), a fair price would be $1200.

The wide front axle assembly is worth around $600. With narrow front, the tractor would be worth around $1,200. I vote $1,800.
