Gaskets for David Brown 990

Needing gaskets for DB 990. Gaskets such as where top transmission plate bolts on and side plate and PTO gaskets....Thought I"d find a parts diagram which included these gaskets. Looked on Messick"s site and found other items but no gaskets..Any suggestions? Thanks

Use silicone? Why pay for gaskets when you really do not need?

Tom,

You should be able to get any of the gaskets you need at your local Case-IH dealer. I think the gaskets are the same reguardless of serial number, but would be helpful if you have it avaiable.

You can go to the on-line parts book at the Case-IH site, print out the pages you need. They have the part numbers and descriptions listed.

Had no luck on their site. Sure I'm just overlooking something. But I never saw one gasket.

Case/IH site seems to be the same as what I"ve seen on Messick"s site..I see no gaskets. May be just overlooking them. Thanks

hi tom you could get a roll of gasket paper and cut out the gaskets you need,i've done this lots of times myself.tom

I have made some before also..I"m hunting this stuff for my B in law so I"m kinda in the dark as to how many holes would have to be cut, how large the gaskets are etc...Thanks for the suggestion. That might be what he has to do.
