Working on a friends 222 and heres the problem. Tractor starts fines and runs good for about 15min till it gets warm and dies. You can start it back up right away but runs like crap and have to put the choke on. I cleaned out the gas tank and made sure the gas cap was venting. Put new fuel line on and made sure it was not close to the exhaust for vapor lock reasons. He has a 12 volt coil on it and I though maybe the coil was getting hot. Or maybe it needs a carb kit. Has a 10hp kohler. Any help would be great. Thank you

The 222 should have a 12 horsepower Kohler K 301 series.
First thing comes to my mind is the valves are too tight. Try adjusting the valves to about .012 clearance. See if that helps... Gene

You might get more help down in the "Garden Tractor" section. Good Luck with your project.
