1967 580ck 33 loader and backhoe wondring if it should have a counter weight up front 500+lbs i think it should does anyone know for sure?

The only backhoes with additional front weights are the ones equipped with an Extendahoe other than some of the very early models. (W3, 530, etc)

our dealership sold a lot of 580CK,580B,580C's every one of them were equipped with the 500 pound weight if they also had an extendahoe they also had wheel wgts also our county is very hilly and most were used in oilfield work this extra weight was required

thanks for the info was the weight one solid block bolted to the front 500lbs + even without the extenda hoe

yes it was one piece bolted up under the radiator in front of axle they were 8"-10"thick sorry don't remember the # but I think they were listed with the backhoe part's list and not in the tractor part's book Tom
