could use some ideas on removing sleeves from a dc block-suckers are stuck good -scared might ruin block-block is soaking in oil now-any help would be greatly appreciated-thanx

Use a proper sleeve puller with a disk of the correct dia. They come out hard. To try with 1/2 correct concocktions will not work.

I've done it with 2 hydraulic jacks, a cross beam, a disc and a set of very heavy threaded rods I made for the job. It worked OK and didn't damage any parts but wouldn't do it again that way. My recommendation: Get a puller!
