when i pull back on my hand cluth i notice that the pulley brake pad is almost wore down to the rivits. can i still get these kind of rivit on brake pads/ THANKS, Jim

About a year ago you could still get them from IH, including the special rivets. Not too pricey even. Don

Jim,
They should last a very long time, but it depends upon how well it is adjusted and how hard the belt pulley shaft wants to keep turning. It is a good thing to change them before its too late because I have seen them ground down to almost nothing-metal on metal-and wear out both the brake and hub. When properly adjusted it makes shifting so much easier (and quieter). Don

Don, IH STILL CAN GET THE LINING AND RIVITS. THANKS FOR THE HELP. I CALLED IH TODAY, AND THEY SAID THEY WILL HAVE IT BY MONDAY.

Ande, im alive and well, working lots again, and just starting up again on my case dc project. ill keep u posted on the project. was thinking about going to wisconsin this weekend for the farmall cub show. Jim
