Case LA fan belt

Does any one have the number for a 1948 Case LA fan belt, not the generator belt. Mine is all out of adjustment and I am not sure it was the right one as it is really low in the pulleys with all the adjustment used. Also I can't find any number on the belt and I would like to call NAPA and order it as I am quite sure it won't be in stock. Thanks!! Roger

Case number is O6077AB. (That is Alphabetic "O" as the prefix and zero between 6 and 7.

I actually got a NOS one from a Case dealer in western Nebraska. They couldn't believe it when their computer showed they had one in stock for my LA. I still got a new one at NAPA to use though.

I have found that some of the 3/4 wide belts are actually 11/16 wide be sure to measure them before taking it home.
I think that I ordered mine from nnalert.com It was a true 3/4 belt.
Really makes one mad when they short you on the size of a belt. makes it real hard to get the right size.
I would stay away from NOS belts as the rubber is pretty much shot in them and they may break at any time.

Hey Roger: We stock them in the Genuine Case. We did stock aftermarket belts for a while, but had too much trouble with them, not being consistant in length.

O6077AB had a Canadian list price of 3.39 in Nov. 1968. Just though I would share that.
