What would be a fair price for A case 300 needing restoration, that needs a rim and tire and a carburetor and seat? The head was rebuilt and a new distributor cap and plug wires put into it befor he parked it 10 years ago. He quit using it afer discovering a large amount of fuel in the oil. I cant seem to dig much up on these guys so any information you think would be helpful would be appreciated.

Well I am going to run through the tractor and get everything in good mechanical working order so I can use it for hay production and general utility around my home. At this point I don't plan on making it a show tractor.

Is this the round nose or the "B" series? We had the round nose when I was back on the farm and it is one of the best small tractors Case built.

You're going to have a minimum of $2000 (probably well over $3000) involved in the process if you're truly going to restore the tractor by starting at the grill and working through the drawbar, and then completing the job with a good paint job. If you're doing it for re-sale your probably going to need to keep your first cost under $1000

It has a square front with the corners rounded, also it has a wide front and a brush guard that I haven't laid eyes on yet
