'44 SC clutch adjuster button is stuck!!!

[color=darkred:e276876647]I'm trying to adjust the clutch on my '44 SC and have found the adjuster button. I have tried to push it in with a screw driver and a customized bolt, but it won't budge. I have sprayed it with PBlaster the last 2 nights and it doesn't want to play nice. Any ideas out there?? (I'm currently shying away from heating it with the torch, being a we clutch and all!!)[/color:e276876647]

no doubt there are more than one adjusting system , currently
I have DAD's 51 DC with a dire need for adjustment.. and i cannotfigure out the proper method , I have adjusted this one before ,,,one of thease days i will do a tractor split i guess

The button is spring loaded and is supposed to pop back out. Mine stuck after I pushed it in. I used P.B Blaster on mine, as well, and kept lightly tapping it until it caem all the way back out.

Craig,
Don't use heat, you will take the temper out of the spring that
keeps it out and locked. Is it maybe wedged against the
adjuster ring? Try moving the adjuster slightly. If it was a
running tractor that pin should be well lubed and not rusted
stuck.
