300 or 300b?

is there a difference between the 300 and the 300b? I just got home and there is a message about a case 300 parts tractor. thanks

The 300 is the round nose version and the 300B is the first of the square nose series. Buyers Guide says they had the same equipment except the 300B also offered the shuttle transmission. Think they had the same blocks as I know the block from the 350 was used in the 500B.

Im going to call her tonight and find out which it is. If it is the square front is there much interchangable with the 500b "batery cover, rims power steering ect." thanks

Where is it located? I am keeping my eyes open for a 300 parts tractor myself. I am in Omaha, NE. If it doesn't work out for you and if it isn't too far away. Randy

the blocks should be different between the 350 and the 300, one is a 148 the other a 164 with external differences, one a wet sleeve the other dry. mEl
