Bolt in operation. Change bolster and front axle. Might have to loosen frame rails a bit. Tony

Thanks. Is there anything that I should look out for when shopping for a wide front-end? Any inherent problems with them?

The hole and the pin at the front pivot plate tend to wear because there is no means for lubricating it. The hole and pin can be built up with weld if necessary. Unless you want an exact restoration on a pre 186413 ser. # tractor, you're better off using the later 4 bolt mounting plate unit which will hold up better under heavy use with a loader than the early 3 bolt unit.
