There are several ways water can get into the oil. Here are a few of them. Freeze plugs in the head are known to fail. Take off valve cover and change them, two I think. "O" rings around base of liner. Could be rusted out block here too. I had to JB weld mine around the upper of these O rings. Porbably not head gasket, there is no perssrueized oil passage between the head and block. Oil gets to the head by the external oil lines on the right side of the engine. Get reprints of original repair manual. Worth the money. Check it out. If not the plugs in head, maybe pull pan and look at the bottom of the liners, try to see where water is comming from. Keep us posted.
