was told it was a woods but dont know for sure. it has three blades, single pulley on outer blades and a triple pulley on center. has pulley on the side in rear to drive the belt with two adjustable pulleys under drive pulley. all pulleys are v type, not flat. no matter how i put the belt on I end up with a lot of twisting at the drive pulley. thanks Bill

I have twists in my belt also. I tried to remove them with no luck. It runs just fine though. I am not sure of the model of my mower, but I think it is an L59 Woods.

Bill,

I'm emailing some B&W photos now that may help a little (they're not the greatest quality) and I'll also look for any color photos I have on file that might help. We have a couple of B's, but so far haven't come across a belly mower to use. We do have a Cub with a mower. I'm told that the B is similar except the Cub PTO runs in the opposite direction as most (or all) other tractors. I can get plenty photos of that one and send too.

Hey Kevin, Could I possibly get a shot of those pictures also? I recently purchased a B with woods belly mower (I think) and also at loss as to how it should be routed. My deck has both sides open for discharge. The blades all cut counter-clockwise but the outer spindles have left-hand threads. Since I don't know who had it before me it may be that they didn't have it right either. Thanks!

I too have a AC B with a Woods L59 mower. My belt is on and it works but it looks 'weird'. So many twists.... and it won't ride flat in the drive pulley. It always flips on its side. Any belt routing photos would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric

David,

Check your mail. I've got some color photos of various types (1-blade or 3-blade) of mowers too.
