yes you can do it, but remember the capacity of the oil reserve is not overly large. Watch the size of cylinder you use. You have a single acting hydraulic system now, with one hose outlet (pressure) to the "new splitter" We built a splitter and connect it to the 3 point hitch, you could also use a drawbar. Put a two way valve on the splitter as the control. Run your hosie into the valve as the "pump supply". Run two hoses off the new vavle to both ends of the cylinder. Run a hose from the sump side of the vavle back to your hydraulic resivoir (case). You need to engage the tractor hydraulics lever and lock it into position so it sends oil to teh rear vavle. NOw run the valve in or out to control the cylinder. When the valve is in neutral position, the oil just goes thru it back to the tank (case).
