"Live power" means the pto keeps running when a clutch is engaged. The earliest AC with "live power" was the WD - the foot clutch stopped the pto, but the hand clutch allowed you to stop the tractor without stopping the pto, hence live power.

"Independant power" would mean the pto keeps running regardless of what clutch you engage. AC's did not have that until the 1970's.

Live power means that the PTO will keep running even when you push the clutch in. The most common is, a dual clutch system, where you push the clutch pedal half way in to stop the tractor, and the rest of the way in to stop the PTO. Independent PTO, means the PTO "enguagement" is independent of the clutch pedal. It could be a seperate lever, or maybe a on/off switch on the dash, if it has "electric" PTO clutch enguagement.
