Wow!! I'm speechless as to the response I got from all of you concerning the Model C cultivators. Hope I've responded to all of you personally, but just wanted to "collectively" thank you all for your response. We hope to become "regulars" to the chat room. We got the little allis home on Saturday and put her to work almost as soon as she left the trailer (hope my refering to the allis as "her" and "she" doesn't bother anyone out there...It just seemed a natural thing to talk about "alice" in that context!) Nancey climbed aboard and mowed the east 2 acres (along Love Creek) in short order, then I did the "hill field", the "west 40" and the "front lot" and had a ball! This weekend, the mower comes off and the plow goes on to get the garden and the "west 40" turned over; then disced and, hopefully, get the winter wheat and rye sown... I'll be in touch with some of you a bit later on when there's room to breath (I told some of you that, at the moment, I "commute" from Michigan to Houston!). Again, thanks to all who wrote back.
