Welcome to the WD line of infamous shifter blues. The stick has jumped out of the forks. Its an easy fix that with a little practice can be done in under five miutes. Pull the rubber boot off the stick and remove the snap ring holding the stick in. Carefully remove the stick watching out that the pivot pins on the sides of the large ball don't fall into the column. With the stick out, use a large screwdriver and move the forks back to the neutral position. Insert the stick, again being careful not to drop the pivot pins down the column, and place the retaining cap over the top of the large ball. Before replacing the snap ring and boot you should try to shim out any up and down play in the stick which seems to contribute to the problem (this seems to have cured it entirely on my WD45). With it fully assembled you should be back in business. Shift slowly and deliberatly while pushing the stick into the column should also help prevent a repeat.
