Kim, i am far from an expert, but none of those numbers mean much. Lets start out and get some basic information. What size are the rear tires? What size are the front tires. How big is the tractor? Is the top of the hood 4 ft above the ground or 7 ft? Does it have a diesel engine? Does it have 4 cylinders? Are the hood and radiator wraparound boxy and square corners, or rounded? How old do you think it is 1980, 1960, 1940? Does it have a c-channel frame around the engine and radiator, a plate frame, or no frame? this will give us a better starting point to tell you where the serial number is located, it changed every few years.

This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life.
