Mike, It sounds like the clutch may not be disengaging. Check to see if it is adjusted correctly. If the clutch adjustment is right, I would suspect the clutch disk may just be stuck to the flywheel or pressure plate (this might happen if the tractor has not been run for a while). If I thought it was stuck, I would try to un stick it by moving it to a safe place, put it in the highest gear, depress clutch pedel and crank the engine. Be careful not burn up your starter. Trent

Thanks for your help. I moved a lever under the seat today and the gears work great again. This is probably a sign of things to come. Never had a tractor before, once I get it running I can then experiment with he various levers.
