I used to think that this was possible, but then I remembered my Dad buying a saw frame from one that would not fit the other. Seemed like the width of the frame was 18" on one and 19" on the other, but after 40 years.....the memory fades. As long as the frames are not a different width, I don't see why it would not work. I think the bolt dimensions are the same. Just tape it first to make sure.

Correction- the memory came back a half-day later. I believe the attempted switch was between a JD and the WD.
