A picture IS worth a 1,000 words!! Bryan, I see you have what appears to be a "real gennyine" 3 PH centerlink clamp for the factory 3 PH conversion. Two of my WD-45s came with the 3 PH conversions; one had the center link attachment like yours and the other had the centerlink attachment down between the arms to maintain the traction booster feature. Unfortunately, they were both in ruff shape and I had only enuf stuff to make one usable hitch. I chose to use the static center link bracket like yours.

Back when we used a Wd and a WD45 the WD45 came from the factory with that clamp - I dodn't know another one existed..... the traction booster will still work since the 3rd link sees "push" instead of "pull", but perhaps it will sense differently.
