AC 180 Dimensions

What is the door clearance needed for an AC 180 with Cab? How easy is it to remove the cab?

I need to know how to get it a garage with an 8' rollup door.

I would expect the brand and model cab as well as the tire sizes will need to come into play to find correct answers for you. Measuring it is the best and safest answer.

Factory Allis Cab. I haven't purchased it and its about 200 miles away with flat tires. Want to have an idea of logistics before I purchase and arrange transportation.

I wasn't aware AC ever offered a cab on a One-Eighty. We installed many aftermarket cabs on One-Eighties and 185's when they were new. As I recall, the fenders were removed. Muffler may need to come off, or be shortened to navigate an 8' door.

Muffler height on a diesel is 92 inches. Gasoline model is 98 inches. These are approximate depending on front and rear tire sizes. Any cab max height will be more than 8 feet. A 180 or 185 was NEVER offered with a factory cab. They are all after-market.

I though I came across something in a manual or spec sheet about a cab option, but it has been about 18 months since I saw this tractor and the cab looked factory.

In general however, is it difficult to remove a cab? I don't think it has any sort of heater or AC, so it ?should? just be removing the frame.
Do you remove the glass first, or leave it in the cab?

There were at least a half-dozen manufacturers of tractor cabs. Some were even roll-over design (Year-a-round and Hiniker) which were quite heavy and were fastened very well to protect the operator. In general, cab removal difficulty will depend on the brand of cab. Some required removal of the fenders. Some did not. Some had heaters and fans. Some did not.
