I located a Tractor Ser # 75960 or 70960 (hard to read)

Engine Ser # 49483-M (hard to read) Does the M represent something?

It lost its front end sometime in the past and someong mounted a Ford front end on it and did some welding to it.

This (517) loader has a mounted camshaft driven hydraulic pump on the front of the tractor.

The 517 appears to be painted on as there is no manual for it. The loader has a lot of hoses and modifications. Parts to the lifters are all plumbing parts.

Tractor has no seat and the back end of tractor apepars to be missing alot of stuff.

****What I can see, it looks like a series 3 D-17 gas tractor. "M" code means gasoline compression, not LPgas compression, which would be a "V". The Ford wide front axle and whatever the steering apparatus hanging on the side ?? that's someone's idea of a good idea ?? Loader appears to be a 400 or 500 series with a factory crankshaft driven oil pump. Serial number must be lower than 75001, because that would be a series 4 model at 75001 and up. It has a homemade 3-point hitch on the back that looks like most of the parts are missing. Never came like that from the factory. Hitch was added on. So, what's your question?? There were hundreds of D-17's with 400 or 500 AC loaders on them. The hydraulic plumbing was all pipe thread with pipe elbows where needed. How it is now and how things are routed, I have no idea. With the looks of that front axle job, I can only imagine what the loader plumbing looks like. Overall, they were a very good outfit .

D-17 Series #3 and 500 series including 517 loader information is all over on E-Bay and internet. If you are looking for parts you can even buy them Allis Chalmers Decal and Your exact #517 decals. The
Manuals are available but probably not going to be provided for free. Maybe some on this Forum can help with specific questions but to sort out what cobbled up messes you have will require basic knowledge of
mechanic and Hydraulic systems. One step at a time and everything can come back together as it should be??Cleddy

.

I saw a WD with a Ford N-series wide front before. Must have been a more common garage mod. Loaders are hard on front wheels and steering.
