Allis styled WC with foot brakes

Looking at a WC for sale. It has foot brakes? Years ago we had one with hand brakes. I was under the impression foot controls didnt come out until the WD?

Dad's old styled WC had those foot brakes.
No idea when they were put on. My guess is that he bought the WC new in the mid-40' and it either came that way (dealer installed), or Dad put them on later. He did custom corn picking, so maybe that's the reason for having foot brakes.
I do remember Grpa's WC still had the hand brakes; which weren't all that bad for making quick 90 right turns with a sickle mower.
WC brakes never seemed to hold all that well.
IMO, that's one of A_C's shortcomings until the combination band/disc setup.
Of course, the ol' Farmall F20 didn't have all that good of brakes either.

I have a conversion set on my WC. Just to be clear... when you need your hands elsewhere it's helpful to get some braking with your feet BUT you have way more leverage for brakes with the hand levers. I don't believe I could ever lock up a wheel with a foot pedal on my WC whereas my WD has awesome pedal brakes.

My 1952 Central Tractor catalog lists them for $21.50.
