d 17 relief valve stuck on hydraulics

I have done little but tinker with this D-17 because I know something just cant be right with Hydraulics ,There is a relief valve squealing and straining. The pump is building heat in a short time while running. It is a series 4, it has 4 ports for 2 remotes, the loader was removed before i bought it.the rear lift is stuck up.and the control linkage looks to be complete but is all disconnected. I have pushed and pulled and tapped at the levers that connect to valve body with engine off and running and cant get a satisfactory response. What I need is a book for this D-17, and a picture showing linkages for the rear lift and how the draft control is connected.Or at the very least direction as To where i can find a few pages of Info describing the same. Thank You to All that can help Me give this D -17 relief,

*** You have two hydraulic levers at the rear of the hydraulic console. BOTH OF THESE LEVERS MUST BE FULLY FORWARD AND LEFT THERE !!! Standing at the rear of the hydraulic valve stack, there are three aluminum covers that should have a rubber plug in each end. The rubber plugs might be missing. Each cover is held in place by two allen head screws. Anyway, immediately to the right of these covers is a SHORT COVER without a plug also held with two allen head screws. Remove the two allen head screws, the cover and spring. Take a hammer and large diameter punch and drive this spool fully forward. Your linkage ahead of this spool is rusted and stuck holding the spool inward which raises the arms continuously, but if you leave those two hydraulic levers alone you should be OK.
