1st time posting. Just blocked a 1947 Allis Chalmer model C.

My amp meter Box has the amp meter, 2 toggle switches, and a push button. One of the toggles operates the headlights, 1 activates something else which I've traced through a fuse but not to a thing, and I cannot figure out what the push button does. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks. Timmydou65 from Texas

Who know for sure what has been done to a 50 plus year old tractor when it come to wiring. If it has been switched to 12 volt it could be to excite the alternator. My 1946 C has a button that you use to start it instead of the factory rod starter button
