The tachometer on my 6070 does not work until the engine has been running for a while. It seems to need to warm up. Does it just need lubrication, or
is there something wrong. I also cant seem to figure out where it connects to the engine?

*** The tachometer is powered by the alternator, so it could be the tach itself or the alternator or a very loose fan belt. Start with the belt. Have the alternator tested by someone competent. Then replace the tach itself.

Both replies were bang on! The alternator belt was so loose, I am surprised the alternator idiot light went out!
