Model B final drive lube ?

The filler plug is on the inside of each final drive pan.
Unfortunately, there are no drain plugs. To drain the pans, they must be removed.

My "C" manual states: For temps above 32* use S.A.E 140; for temps below 32* use S.A.E. 90.

My "B manual states: Use S.A.E 20 at all times.
I believe this is an error because both the WD and WD-45 manuals say to use 80EP which is a newer version of the 90 and 140 gear oils.

A lot of guys now use a modern "Hytran" fluid instead.

There is tapered roller bearings and gears in there, no brass or other yellow metals. Using a modern GL 5 gear lube can only be good.
