A few extra RPMs- Allis C

I have been disking a field with my model C and find that I could use a bit more RPM out of the engine. The throttle rod is as far forward as it can go but is there another adjustment that will allow the engine to run faster? I confirmed with a tachometer that I can goose it up another 200 RPM without overspeeding the engine. I have the disk set for a fair amount of drag as the field was fallow last year, so the extra power would be a godsend.

Thanks,

Scott Todd

Get a D-15 governor spring. That will increase the RPM's under no-load. It does not guarantee the engine will run faster with the disc in the ground if it is too much load for the engine.
