Driving my WD up a hill the other day and it barely made it up I don't know if clutch or 4th going out. IDEAS!!!!!!

Did you lose engine RPM? If so, both clutches are good. Is this a hill you can normally climb just fine?

Fourth is straight through the transmission, no gears involved. The input shaft is locked to the output shaft. So unless it popped out of gear it isn't the transmission.
If the engine didn't slow much or not at all but the tractor did a clutch is slipping. If the hand clutch lever has a little snap to it when engaging and disengaging
it probably isn't that one. If it pulls easily into engagement with no snap there are shims that can be removed to adjust it--if they haven't been removed already. The
foot pedal for the foot clutch needs to have at least an inch or so of free play, that is easy movement before it starts to disengage the clutch. You can check this by
pushing the pedal with one finger. If you can't, adjust it so you can get the 1' free play and maybe the clutch won't slip anymore. If it still slips you need to think
about replacing it.

Drive the same route that you did before and when it acts up, stand on the brakes really hard !!! If the engine stalls, you have an engine issue. If the rear wheels stop turning and the engine is still running, you have a clutch slipping.

A Cockshutt forum? There's an Oliver and Cockshutt forum on this site. The Cockshutts built prior to 1946 and after 1962 were built by Oliver, so the forums are combined. Plenty of Cockshutt knowledge on that forum, not just Oliver.
