Allis B or C

When a B or C has electric start where is/was the hand crank stored? I know when I was a kid on our hand start B, it went under the steering tube in a rectangle hole made to hold the crank. After dad put electric start on the tractor, he just stuffed it partially in the tool box but it never really fit there.

Must be. This is terrible, as I owned an early non electric B, a later B, and a C, and I never pondered this question! Yet the WD/WD45's had a crank and holder all through production, and they all had batteries!

That looks like a great place for the crank. I have the bench seat, so, Ive been thinking of the right side below the tank behind the starter might be a good spot too. It has nothing in the way and might be a good place for brackets like you have. Thanks for your input.

One of mine has the crank in the tool box under the seat. It is the only one that I have seen with a tool box under the seat.
