Next step, locked up

After using your preferred soaking oil. Achieving after months, full engine rotation, what is your next step? Debating pulling the head for cleaning and inspection.

I have freed up a good many locked up engines over the years using ATF. The few that didn't free up I then pulled the head and put a little gas in each cylinder on top of the ATF and lite it up. After that and doing it till the ATF is almost gone and it hasn't freed up then a total tear down is needed. By the way I too am in Missouri

If the engine frees up after being filled with ATF I don't take the head off unless I have to due to sticking valves. I also pour as much ATF down the exhaust pipe after putting the plugs back in so the valve get some ATF to them also

I bought a set up WD45. After soaking and pulling the pan for access to the crank, it freed up. I ran it for some time after that
doing light jobs. Then one day I worked it hard, and apparently burned rust off the valves, as then it needed a valve job.

Try to get it running, for further evaluation. May end up tearing down after that, maybe not.

If you just wanna "play", go for it. Just get ready with your wallet.

i know that lighting the cyl's on fire dont work cause it tryed it to satisfy my guessing that it wouldnt work. heat travels up not DOWN.

Get an inexpensive Harbor Freight endoscopy camera. Put camera
inside spark plug hole for each cylinder and look at condition of
cylinder liner, cylinder wear ridge, top edge of piston, and
valves.

Rotate engine while looking to verify valves are not stuck.

Good point. If you burn off all the ATF and gas to the point there is little to none in the cylinder it will in fact heat you most of the cylinder and expand the cylinder and maybe free things up
