I am not an Allis guy but went to tractor show this weekend and they must have had at least a dozen of them and some with implements on. I did not see a single one with hydrolics. Question is did they not put hydrolics on any of them. Years ago the small local Allis dealer had for their own use a G with a loader on. Never loked it over good so would it have been from a built in hydrolic system or an ad on pump. Think it might have been largest ever in numbers of tractors of all makes but feature was Allis.

the first ones built didn't have hydraulics as an option, I believe it was after about a year or so that it became more popular as people tired of lifting heavy plows at the end of every row. I have two with factory hydraulics and one with a loader with aftermarket live hydraulics.
By the time you bought the pump, the controls, cylinders, and the lifting shaft/shafts you had almost another $100 in a $850 tractor! more than a lot of people were willing to spend.

They could be had as Joe said.
I put one of these on one at Clemson U that was used to plant small grain plots all over SC.
That thing lifted 6 planter feet many thousands of times over the years we used it.
We converted the G to 12 volt so we could use this.

neighbors had one back in the 60's and 70's. don't remember what year it was. had hyd lift on it we used to cultivate. also had big front weight and creeper trans. coasted down every hill so we could make up for going up next hill !! lol

Just supprised none had hydrolics. Wonder if the ones without implements were all the older ones before the hydrolic became avaible or if owners decided they did not need the hydrolics and took them off to save money for just having a play around tractor. I am almost sure at other shows there were some with hydrolic lift implements.

Hydraulic lift was optional on the later models and could be added with a kit. The loaders were run from a pump mounted to the rear on the crankshaft. I saw one at a show in Ohio that had a half-track attachment.

Richard, that's how the ones I have that are just implement lift are, they did the loaders this way so they had live hydraulics and the pump and loader didn't stop when the clutch is in.
