safe jacking and stand to lift a b

i have a fairly tall set of stands, cribbing, and two bottle jacks but only about a foot high, and a good auto jack that lifts maybe
twenty inches. i want to lift rear wheel off ground and have a stand for safety. when i crib and jack it up under axle there is no room
for the stand, im thinking o putting the stand under the steel tube that has the clutch attached, will this hold or bend?. maybe a
bottle jack under the cast iron case around the main drive gear? what kind of jack is made for this/? all input appreciaated

Need to know what you're planning to do to the tractor. Your proposals are pretty confusing. By steel tube that has the clutch attached, will this hold or bend?. Do you mean the clutch housing and rest of cast iron case back to the transmission (I think the B is built that way) It won't bend but can break - suddenly, but if all you're holding up is the front part of the tractor's rear half after splitting, should be OK. After lifting it up, get cribbing or really solid blocks under it and remove the jacks. Most important thing - stay safe. Don't do make-shift and take chances. Yes, it's a little light tractor but having it setting on your chest will still kill you!

sorry for the confusion, im taking the rear wheel off, left side, the place i want to put a stand is the steel 1 1x2 square shaft that gpes across the tractpr where your feet are when sitting in the seat.im in the house now but i think the fenders bolt to it, i wonder if it is strong enough to put a stand under and will hold up one side of the tractor. is there a jack to lift this tractor without using cribbing?

Screw jack as in what is commonly called a bell jack??? I have 5 or 6 of them that I use on my tractors

Yes big base and I have one that stands about 18 inch tall if not a bit taller an goes up close to that much more.

i looked around on facebook and they are a few for sale but not close. railroad jacks are pricey, must be a collectors item may have to look at new, any one got any idea of what is a good new buy, size brand where to shop for new screw jack.

leave on tire on the ground.. Jack under the 2 x 2 square frame by your brake pedal on the side you want up.. put a jack stand under the axle housing under the brake band when the tire is 2 inches off the ground. You can stack up 2 x 4 that are 18 inches long, 4 x 4 , or get a couple small sections of rail road ties to use as the BASE to set your jack onto.... this tractor dont weigh much.

Check local antique stores that is where I have found a few. I've probably have at least 5 if not more and I bet when my mom dies I'll probably find a few more in her stuff
