I have acquired this lawn tractor and would like further info as to value. It don't appear to have many hours on it
and has been well kept. Also posted on the garden tractor forum. Thanks.

Made late '70's - early '80's, single cylinder Briggs, 36 deck is what I'm seeing for spec. Available gear and hydro, which? Running? Usable? I'd think you'd have to find someone who really wants it bad to fill in a collection to get $500 out of it. Ain't no gold mine! Might have to just give it away - if you can. This from experience, not an expert.

There is a web site Simple TrACtor about these lawn tractors. It seems to be difficult to actually find any information on them. I bought a Allis-Chalmers Homesteader which is 7-8 Hp. With a 30 single blade it did a terrible job mowing and was rough to drive & ride.
It was always fun to sit on the Allis-Chalmers lawn tractors at the dealership and wish for one. Probably lucky we could not afford it as I don't think they were the best. Cleddy
