1948 ac mod c. af leakrd into oil, I replaced head gasket and head frost pugs, ran good no leaks. shut off motor no leaks without starting checked oil 2 days later no leaks. Ithoght everything is good until 2 days later without starting motor i checked oil and there was 2 gallons of antifreeze in oil, can somebody please give me an idea of where af is getting into the engine

Since it is a wet sleeve engine good chance one of if not more of the sleeve o-rings have gone bad. Easy way to check is pull the oil pan and have the cooling system full. Lay a piece of card board under it and watch for coolant on the cardboard.

Just had the same thing happen. Had a frost plug pop. They were new plugs also. I would take off the valve cover and take a look.

To put that much antifreeze in the oil not running, it's almost guaranteed to be sleeve o-rings. The freeze plugs in the head are also a common issue rusting out, but wouldn't put that much in the pan.
