1951 allis ca offered to me free

This tractor has been sitting n a barn for 20 years or so. I aired up rears and they hold air. Fronts are trash. Engine turns over with crank so its not stuck. Can hear mag click wen I turn the engine over. Tractor was driven in the barn at that time so it should run again. Owner is deceased and the wife dont know anything about it. Its mine if I want to go get it, about 30 miles away. Anyone have any idea what its worth? I got a few pics. Thanks Larry

CA is a good little tractor, we have one we use a lot. I would have no question of taking it if it is free, you can't lose on that. Buying it in that condition $250 to $500. I wouldn't worry about value of a free one, if I wanted one. Do you want it to use, or you are just planning to flip it and figuring repair cost vs sale value? Repaired it could be worth $1000 to $2500 (maybe more) depending on extent of repairs made/restoration done.

What the others have said. And they are the last of the B, C, CA line of tractors before the change to the D series. Four speeds constant mesh, axle clutch for independent PTO (sort of), snap couple hitch, upgraded hydraulics spin out rears.

Not going to use it. I have refurbished lots of tractors in the past so might get it and get running and clean it up some. See what goes from that.

I would go and get it for free. It would make a good little restore project. I would keep it and use it though..
