Picked up a 14 ft wide Allis Chalmers rotary cutter. It is a trail type design and came with dual hydraulic cylinders to raise and lower the deck. No nameplate is visible but there is an Allis Chalmers decal on the back of a gearbox. Are any parts available for these? Anyone have any experience using one?

Cut many acres of sudex hay with one in the 80's and 90's, remove the back chains and the whole back is open, it more or less conditioned the stems to where the sudex could be baled in 2 days instead of a week if cut with a sickle mower or disc mower. All blades were available at NAPA in those days, standard blades, gear boxes american made, bearings available from any bearing house, same with U-Joints. Good mower if you have wide gates or no fence.
