Bonjour a tous./Hello everybody. I am working on a d-12 serial#3459 and I have a couple of questions for you AC peoples. first, when desassembling the governor I noticed that the front portion, the portion running in the front bushing, of the governor shaft was smaller. photo in the service manual does show equal size. I installed new bushings and had the shaft rebuilded to .437, 7/16 to fit the new bushing was it ok? Second, Been trying to remove axel from the final drive housing with no success. Iam afraid of using an hydraulic press, any other solution? finally, the spring parts# 232020 on the carburator link, what is it hook to and what utility does it have? Thanks in advance for your advices.

Most AC final drives have a snap ring (which is difficult to get to and remove) that holds the gear in position.

Thanks in advance."
