changing oil. what oil goes in the trans . appears the hyd. are using the same oil? was going to put in 80-90 but that wont work with hyd.

Generally 80/90 goes in the transmission/differential and hydraulic oil in the front hydraulic reservoir. There are 3 transmission drain plugs, one under the differential, one over the snap coupler under the transmission, and one on the bottom of the PTO gear box. One hydraulic drain under that system. If the seals between these two systems leak the hydraulic oil can leak back into the transmission as the level of the hydraulic oil is normally higher. You can use straight weight non detergent oil or universal "tractor lube" for either also. I like the gear oil for the transmission and use hydraulic oil for that system.

You can use a good universal hy trans in the hyd and tranny.
