Allis Chalmers loader

In the 1960's dad and I put an Allis Chalmers loader on his IH B-275 tractor. I am restoring the tractor now and took the loader off and don't have a use for it, and would like to sell it. Am wondering what I should ask for it? I don't know the model, it is a tube type loader with a trip bucket. Dad and I built a mounting frame for the IH B-275 so I don't have the original mounting frame. So it is the loader frame with cylinders and the trip bucket. It is in good shape and was working good. No leaks on the cylinders. If I knew the model number or what AC tractors it might fit and what it would be worth, I will list it on the for sale site. Thanks for any information.

I will try to add a picture, but not sure I know how to do it. If it doesn't show up, you can send me your email address and I can email it to you. Thanks.

Amazing!! I think adding the photo worked. I don't see any sign of a nameplate on the right side. Dan

Looks like it was made for a D-17. I tried googling and was unable to come up with model. I know the one for a WD was a model Wd-9. I would guess it's worth around $500 if you can find someone that wants it.

Dad had one like that on his WD45. Made by Freeman, for AC. I believe that upper pipe/truss frame on the earlier ones was just a rod. I also think the data plate was on the sub frame.

You couldn't give away a trip bucket loader around here, most were scrapped because nobody wanted them. There are still a few around laying in fence rows and scrap piles

Every one I have gotten has immediately gone on Craigslist. I don't want one and I don't have the time or money to fix one. The last one I sold was a Freeman off an M that the guy was going to modify with full hydraulics and put on a 706. I see ones for N series Fords going for $100 all the time.

That would be if it had the original mounts and and bucket to go around manure bucket otherwise it's not worth that much. I think this loader has nice looks being an Allis Chalmers brand and the design.

I thought the cylinders looked similar to a Freeman my brother had on a Farmall H. An H cant lift sht but a WD has amazing lifting power. Unreal with the little 1/4" pipe fittings.
