Just wondering if there were many series 1
Allis D-19 LP tractors made? Havent seen
many around here anyway. Thanks - Bob

No info for the D19 LP # made is in Norm Seinfeld’s Allis Chalmers Farm Equipment book, so to my knowledge the number LP’s produced is unknown. At least 1, SN.1200, as it was tested at Nebraska, test no.814.

Neighbor to the north had a LP D19 pulled a 5 bottom mounted plow. It was a tough tractor. I walked out to talk to him once he was plowing right along. He just turned it off. Still remember it popping and cracking as it cooled off. He died and the next owner changed it to gasoline. New tank everything factory. It's got a cracked block now and is locked up. Never know it was a factory LP.

My Allis Chalmers book shows the total number of D19s made, but it doesn't break it down between gasoline, diesel, and LP.

I can't find the book right now, but it's somewhere around 11,000 over three model years.
