During disassembly and cleaning the grease
out of the bell housing, I discovered this
hairline crack. See the picture below. My
question is should I try to get that
repaired by taking it to a welding shop to
weld cast or at least get it braised? I
know cast is questionable in welding. Or
should I leave it? How much weight would
be in that area where the front axle
support pivets? Seeing how IB torque tubes
are hard to come by, I don't want to mess
this up, but want to do it right. Any
suggestions and guidance will be a great
