IB cam lifters and oil pump rebuild?

Hello,

I am in the process of over hauling an IB tractor that the engine was really stuck. Well, not stuck any more since it is all apart! Anyways a few of the cam lifters are corroded/ pitted on the surface where the cam rides on and a couple has same on the sides where is rides in the block. Should I just toss them and get replacements or try to polish them up? also I took the oil pump apart to inspect. Every thing looks good the rotor blades appear to be ok ( still has an angle in the ends) and the cover isn't worn with a groove. Is it necessary to rebuild? Or is there something else I should inspect? Thank you

The oil pump sounds like it is fine. I would have to see the lifters to give an opinion.

Thanks for your help. Attached is one of the lifters. Thanks

that pitting is EXCESSIVE........ i would be looking for another set of good lifters... does the cam lobes look OK ?

Yea I think I might have to get a new set or replace the ones that are pitted. The cam shaft has a little on a couple areas but not as bad as the lifter. When I dropped off the crank to the machine shop for a rework, I left the cam as well for them to touch up.
