Snap coupler hitch

I got a snap coupler disc and was trying to use it on a snap coupler
hitch which I have never used but was interested in seeing how this
works. It hooked up easy enough but I can’t turn very short or the
tires hit the disc, I have the wheels all the way out but the disc is to
close to the tractor it appears to me, we’re there different lengths for
different tractors, any info is appreciated.

Tried to put video but didn’t work this is a D17 with I think a 200 series disc forgot to put that in the other discussion

A mounted disk like that snap coupler or 3pt is not a set up that can be turned very sharp, pretty much go straight, then pick it up and change direction before putting it back in the ground.
I don't care for a mounted disk for that and some other reasons.

I've never run one like you're playing with, but always noticed in the advertising pictures they had the rear wheels set as WIDE as possible to help with turning. Dad had the newer version that kept the disc tongue length the same and had the hitch go into the snap coupler bell. It was referred to as the "Traction-Booster" drawbar. It even allowed us to have duals on the tractor and turn short on the ends of the field.

The picture doesnt work for me but can guess what you have and you cannot turn short with with them. Its something you gave to learn to deal with however the benefits of the traction booster hitch outweigh the turning downside. If your not going to use or don't need the traction booster set up that hooks to the lift arms then stick a clevis in the eye and pull it like a regular disk with the draw bar.

I have seen some of those and wondered how they would work. I have one that hooks to the snap coupler, but also hooks to the arms. It is a traction booster hitch. On these tractors the arms raise first. If you start to spin raise the lever and it puts more weight on the rear of the tractor
