I just bought a WD 45 with power steering. Fluid is full and the belt good and tight. It steers fine while holding the steering wheel but
once you let go the steering goes all the way to the right and starts squealing. It goes right back to center easily when you turn the wheel
again. Thanks!

There is a "centering" adjustment on the FACTORY power steering unit. I've done a couple 30 or 40 years ago. It required removing a small cover and adjusting one way or the other until I got it where it needed to be. It was easy to do, I just can't be any more specific about the procedure.

The centering valve needs adjusted. There is a tin cover held with two allen head screws. Under the cover is a 3/8 nut that needs loosened. Then you remove the bottom cover and screw the valve body in or out till the valve body is even with the housing.
